Courses can be completed in as few as 17 months and are taught by instructors trained in online course delivery. Instructors may use multimedia to engage their students or may have them visit particular interesting websites to do their research and learning.
Students can interact with other students, as well as with instructors, in an asynchronous learning environment, where what one student says one day can be saved for another student to respond to any other day. Additionally, students may work alone or in groups, interacting via email, chatrooms, or an online document sharing area. Because the class is not centered on purely lecture, the possibilities are endless. |
